Vital Records in Parker County
Birth Records from
1903 can be obtained from the State of Texas Vital Records, although
compliance was not complete and not every birth was recorded in
the beginning. Certified copies can only be requested by qualified
individuals, if the birth has occurred within the last 50 years.
Requests for certificates of births that occurred within the last
50 years must also include the full names of the subject's mother
and father (including the mother's maiden name), your reason for
obtaining the certificate, and your relationship to the subject. The
Dallas Public Library genealogy section (8th floor) has a copy
of Texas birth certificates on microfilm.

Death Records from
1903 to present can be obtained from the State of Texas Vital Records

individuals, if the death has occurred within the last 25 years. Requests for
certificates of deaths within the last 25 years, must also include the full
names of the subject's mother and father (including the mother's maiden name),
your reason for obtaining the certificate, and your relationship to the subject.

will be searched without the benefit of the index information but fees are
not refundable, even if no record is found.
The first Probate Packet in Parker County is of J.M.
Cole whose
will was dated 11 Nov. 1873. This will was rerecorded after the
courthouse fire of May of 1874.
