Madeline Ames Brattesani madeline@dcn.org My grandmother, Mary Etta RIGGS, was born in Aledo, PARKER County in (abt.)1886. She married my grandfather, James Walter AMES in 1905 in Parker county. They moved to Beaumont, JEFFERSON COUNTY, and had 6 children, one of whom was my father, Irby Walter AMES. I am looking for information about Mary Etta Riggs' parents.

Where can I find obituaries for that area-Parker co. and Wise co.? I am trying to find out how John Thomas Fitts died Nov. 18, 1891. He was related to the Shirley family around Bridgeport, Springtown, Denton area.

I am trying to locate the birthplace of my great-grandfather Daniel Augustus Key. His fathers's name was William O Key. I found William O Key's name on PARKER COUNTY list of original land owners. I don't know how else to find information on either. Any help?

Searching for information on the family of John Wesley CRABB b 1845 Ky m Centha Rosetta (Zettie) Doggett b 1863 dau of Thomas Jefferson DOGGETT. Inumerated in US Census in PARKER county in 1900 with 4 sons, William W. b 1887, Thomas Daniel b 1890, Luther Hurshel b 1895, and Edgar E. b 1896. Zettie later married Richard M MCCURRY in Oklahoma. Sons are found in US Census in JEFFERSON county Oklahoma in 1910, 1920, and 1930. Will share information. Your help is appreciated.
